Swiss energy giant MET Group is making waves in the renewable energy sector, breaking ground on an ambitious 80 MWp solar park in Răscăeți, Dâmbovița County, Romania. With a robust portfolio of over 260 MWp of photovoltaic power plants and 10 MW of co-located battery storage in Romania alone, MET Group is positioning itself as a key player in the region’s energy transition.
The new solar park is part of a broader strategy to develop four renewable energy projects across Romania, spanning 400 hectares in Arad, Dâmbovița, and Bihor counties. Three of these projects have already reached the ready-to-build stage, showcasing MET Group’s commitment to rapid, scalable renewable energy solutions.

We’re committed to providing stable, long-term, and competitively priced green energy through power purchase agreements (PPAs) for a diverse range of customers.”
