SeaBird Exploration: Looking for two Vessel Controllers

Seabird is looking for two ambitious Vessel Controllers. The Vessel Controller is responsible for the day to day accounting and reporting of the assigned vessels and companies. The Vessel Controller will work closely with and report to the Group Controller which is also positioned in Oslo.

Responsibilities

  • day-to-day accounting and controlling; financial reporting and monthly close of the assigned vessels and companies
  • analysis and controlling of vessel costs and sales, general & administrative costs
  • contribute to the internal management reporting
  • contribute to projects to improve accounting systems and controls
  • participate in the financial planning process
  • ensure excellence in procurement, planning, consolidation and logistic set-up
  • ensure that purchase orders are issued in accordance with Seabird’ procedures and terms
  • ensure good collaboration within the vessel team, key stake holders and Client

Qualifications

  • bachelor degree within Business / Finance / Engineering / Natural sciences
  • 0-3 years relevant experience
  • excellent English skills, both oral and written as English will be your working language
