In a unique communications partnership, the World Petroleum Council and ITN Productions are continuing the ‘Journey of the Drop’, a news and current affairs-style programme, which will explore the future of the oil and gas industry and examine the unique contribution the industry makes to society and economies across the globe.
‘Journey of the Drop 2017’ will show the reach and influence the oil and gas sector has on almost every aspect of daily life – from the importance it has for millions across the globe having little or no access to clean energy, to the latest innovations in exploration, extraction and production. The programme will also look at the diversity of the sector and the wide range of careers available within oil and gas. It will champion collaboration, celebrate innovation and encourage the exchange of ideas in order to meaningfully communicate the vital work the sector does.
