Processing of GeoStreamer® 3D data over blocks 27, 28 and 29 in the Namibe Basin, Angola, is now complete including final PSDM Kirchhoff and Beam volumes.
With each stage of processing comes new insight into a major pre-salt basin that is apparent throughout the acquisition area.
Of particular interest are a series of large pre-salt highs that exist throughout the basin. These structures are a major target, with well developed carbonate systems on top.
PGS Principal Geoscientist Matthew Tyrrell recently presented the data at the ASGA (Associação de Geofísicos de Angola) event in Luanda on the 16th of March.
