Player files lien against Australian outfit’s assets for recovery of debt related to seismic shot on permit in Senegal
UK-based junior Cap Energy has taken Australia’s Far Ltd to court in Senegal in a dispute over the delivery of freshly acquired seismic data over the promising shallow-water Djiffere permit in the oil and gas-rich West African country.
Sydney-listed Far — which claims a 75% option agreement to farm into Djiffere following assessment of 3D seismic shot back in 2015 — has for several months clashed with Geneva-based operator Trace Atlantic Oil and its UK-based partner-guarantor Cap over the non-delivery
